Think I'd start by checking if there's any oil in the engine. If not then check the sump for damage. Nodge

Hi Nodge Just came in from having a look. Refilled water and run her for about 5 to 10 mins then fan kicked in then she started overheating again with knocking. To dark know to check the sump and oil but will jump on that first thing after work tomorrow. If it is that the sump has cracked, broken or whatever, would that in turn keep evaperating all the water? Could'nt understand what a speed bump could do to the water system. Although i changed the radiator header bottle the other day and thought i may have caused a air blockage. Dont know have to see what tomorrow brings Regards and thanks for advice shane

You didnt clout the hump with the sump did you? Hmmmm? Nice rhyme that! Fill her up again and run up to temp, then use MK 1 eyeball and MK 1 earhole. Does it only knock on the run or when standing and blipping the throttle. eddie
