running cooling fans with ignition off

My scorpio 2.9i 12V 1996 has the following problem:

When the ignition is turned off, both cooling fans start to run
at low speed , causing an almost empty battery within one day.
After disconnecting the fans. (temporarily) there is still a current drawn from the battery of approx 4 Amps.

Disconnecting one of the Lamda sensors causes the current to drop to approx 2 A.

Since I don't have the correct wiring diagram it is difficult to find
the cause of the problem.

Can anyone help ??
