First thing have a nice one over the festiivities now what I should like your help with is something I have never encountered in all my years of owning cars and that is the lights come on of there own accord irrespective of switch positons this can happen even when the car is locked up so at the moment the car is parked outside with the battery disconected I might add that there has always been a battery cover in use and on inspection of the fuze box all looks very dry and clean although I have sprayed with wd40, to no avail is there anything that you can suggest I have to pick a friend up from a Southampton hospital on Sunday and I am hoping the problem is sorted by then. Regards Kenboy

hi there does sound like a fusebox problem, but you could try looking at relays 3, 6 & 7. they're all for the headlights. does it just happen after using the headlights? i'd have a look at the switch as well. won't do any harm.

Thanks for that are the relays you mentioned are they located in the fuse box and is there a way of testing them but there are other faults that are probably related, will not operate on remote fob and audio warning not working to indicate lights have been left on I fear the worse here how much would it cost to replace the fuse box.
