Cosworth 1995 missing power

Sometimes my Cosworth doesn't take over 2000 rpm. If I kick down, the gearbox changes but rpm doesn't change. After 5 to 10 seconds everything is normal and car takes rpm like it should. Where I should find out the reason? Sorry my bad english.

Hi,
Hmm.. could it be so simply that Traction Control takes over?.. At least i have notised that in wet conditions, when i accelerete from junction. Gear changes, but the torgue will spinn the wheel and TC is taking the power down.

IMO mate get a OBD2 reader sorted. Hook up to the Pc and diagnose what is happening electronically.
ABD2 + software = $122 USD.
that way the users here can see the codes etc and advise accordingly.
