Topic: What fuse did i blow ??? (Read 388 times) |

Ok i've been meddling with something i know nothing about... cars !!
And even worse, car electrics 
Anyway i was trying to find why the front window heater element isn't working i took a look at the switch to see if there was power to ot and did something silly, the there a spark and all the lights went off.
So now i have no ignition start up lights at all upon turning the key. though the interier lights work OK.
trying to start the car it acts like a flat battrery as well (not even i turn over).
Any idea's  ?
I've checked the fuse in the battery side box and they seem Ok.

Oh dear!
I think all you can do is to check ALL fuses.
There are 1 or 2 which are listed as just "Electronics", so who knows what they do?
I'm assuming that the battery is actually ok(?)
If it is pretty flat the interior lights and all that stuff will still work but it'll do nothing on the ignition.
Try a jump start maybe.

battery's fine mate it's just whatever fuse i've done in.
I got through about half the auxillary fuse box and got bored checking Ok fuses and gave up.
I'll look at those 'electronics' fuses though as i didn't get that far before giving up !!
