hi all i have just put new chains on my 96 24v i got the car as a non runner while i was at it i found the loom between the cylinders falling apart so one wire at a time i replaced the lot with 8 amp auto wire (a little thicker than was there already but not much)as most the wires in this part of the loom carry about 6 volts so im told  ive checked all the past posts todo with starting probs  so i checked the battery its ok fuses 16 and 17 that does the immobilizer was ok and light flashes for aprox 3 secs so think immobs ok too, fuel cut off switch in the  back is ok and the fuel relay well i think thats  ok too as the fuel rail has fuel in it ive asked a auto electrican to come out with the van with the computer to hook it upto the eec-v see whats going on but the guys not turned up twice can anyone suggest anywhere else to look for probs everything seems fine just no spark at all anyway hope you all have a ace new year thanks.
