Engine has started hunting from 500rpm to 2000rpm, then it starts to missfire? After reving it a short while it seems to clear! All i found was the fusebox was wet, but after drying it out everything is still the same1 Any clues plz

Hi, Try lightly sanding all the blades of fuses and relays. If they are slightly corroded, just drying out the fuse box may not be enough to get good connections. Good luck Waders.

A 2.0L 16v. First off, remove the top/ignition cover (the steel blue plate on top of the engine) and check the wiring for shorts. The loom in the engine is very prone to breaking down. Second remove and clean the idle control valve. Hope this helps. eddie
