Not starting after MOT.........

Well...
When i came to pic up my scorp after the MOT they told me it didnt start... Reason, the mecanic had started to take apart the back of the ignitionkey....?? Reason for that, DONT KNOW...! 
Problem is that he didnt get any voltage on the red lead (30) from the ignition to the fucebox...
Anyone know something i can tell dem to look for.?
Is there som thiefsecurity thingy whitch cuts voltage...?
He started speaking of water in fucebox and so on, but i dont by that, never had problems, never had the fucebox covers off...
(Modified to correct my writing.. hehe)

You could try re-programming it. Read how on this page... http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/pats.htm
You'll need the red key to do this though.

I never got a red maked key when i bought the car....
Didnt think it was one on the 2.0 driver option pack cars... But maby...?

Apparently, it is possible without a red key, but I'm not sure about that. Someone who has done it will have to explain that one.
Do you have any other keys you could try?

Hi, guys..!
Thanks for the replies, go the car back and they had don the mot and they had changed the brakepads on the rear AND car started.. They blaimed it on a moist fucebox, it aparently had started the new morning........................ Stupid......
They had used 4hours on "fault finding", and i managed to payup for one hour, sholdnt have but...
Didnt pas the test, caus the high mounted brakelight didnt work, they cold have puced it 1cm against the window, takes 5sec. but noooo, now i have to show the car again....
Just hope they didnt start a "come and go" fault on my scorp...
A nother issue... What is the price and the finishnumber on the facelift headlight lince.?
And the facelift grill....
Looks so mutch better............

Cant help with the fini nos, but the facelift grille is about £150- similar price for the complete headlight. john.n
