I have a 1995 Ford Scorpio Ultima 2.9 12 valve, and have bought a set of leather seats (front and rear) fro a 24 valve cosworth ultima. I also have the centre console. Does any one have any knowledge of how easy it will be to install them. Problems I can see are Memory function on driver side, I dont want to lose this. How easy will it be to connect the passenger seat motor up, mine is manual. I saw a reference on site to "door cards", what are these. Any help/advice any one can give me would be appreciated including pointers to anything on the Scorpio site. Thanks in advance........Ian Wallace

Hi Ian, I have not long done this! The seats come off the cradle that has the motors fitted into it, so if needs be you could swap the new drivers side and have no worries about the settings (4 bolts hold it in place). The passenger seat cable should be under the carpet on the passenger side and it is just a matter of plugging it in to the new seat. Before you do any work, raise the seat as far as it will go - this will expose the bolts and make it easier to get to - also take note on how the pretensioners are fitted and if the are the pyrotechnic ones or not! If the pretensioners are pyrotechnic you need to disconnect the battery for 20mins (PLEASE ADVISE IF I AM WRONG!) If the new seats are heated you can connect them up but will need the loom, relay and switches - I have also done this so let me know if you need any help! The door cards are the lining of the door which you can change from material to leather - again quite simple to do! Hope this helps Dave
