Both heated front screen and heated front washer jets not working , worked from the same dash push-button I believe. I'm not that bothered 'bout the screen heater as I believe they are very prone to failure and are expensive to replace. But the washers are useful to have working . The fuse is OK, maybe the relay?

I don't remember what the heated washer jets work from, but the front screen is protected by 2 different fuses - one for the left hand side, one for the right. Are both the fuses ok?

Yeah, both fuses intact. I know one end of the screen heater comes out at the left and right bottom corners of the windscreen , both of these look OK . If I could find the other end I could check with a multimeter whether the circuit ( and therefore the heater ) is broken.
