When I start the engine the ABS and TCS lights stays on. Then if I drive and turn the engine off and the on again the lights goes off after self test and stays off and everything works fine (it's rather slippery here in Sweden right now so that is is to tell ). Immideatly when I come to a full stop the lights go on and I have to do the same procedure again! I have checked the multiconnector att the control module, where are the other multiconnectors located? Help!!!!!! /Fredrik

Those syptoms are sometime what you get whenthe connectors under the front wings get dirty and wet... Well worth checking those out first, and have a read through the ABS section on the main site.. http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/abssystem.htm

Thanks for the answer Snoopy! I finally came around to check it. All four sensors measurs 1kOhm att the wheels and at the module connector to. After all the checking the sympthom was as before. Starting the engine for the third time (after driving approx 10 km) the lights went out after a few seconds, as normal!!!! Everything worked fine today for about 5-6 starts exept for one occasion. Can it be moisture in the module? BR, Fredrik

If you have had a fault light on Driving the car is a way of clearing the fault light.. If the light stays on then there is still a fault . By the sound of it you would appear to have cured it...
