have not done the job myself, but should imagine it is quite a difficult job to tackle,i'm just trying to rack my brains to try to remember who off of the site did do the job,i know quite a few members have "retro fitted" the heated seats, but who has replaced the element Huh Huh
stand up,stand up where ever you are........

ahhhhh,
eric bought the seat covers if i remember,if anybody can advise you,i am sure he would be the right one,no doubt someone will help though...

not too difficult a job, seat has to come out & base stripped, the bull rings holding the cover on to the frame can be fiddley, if you re use the originals you will have to open them up enough.
can be quite time consumeing.

John,

Are you sure it's not simply the fuse or the relay? Is it just one seat not heating or both?

Hi guys, it`s just the one, auto elec. says power is getting through to the seat but element is not heating.  Fuses & relays were checked by myself first & replaced just in case, by the way is there only one relay( in arm centre console, & one fuse?

I would certainly double check the switch I had one that seemed to be working (Lit up etc) but was NOT providing any power to the seat ... worth changing them for a known working one just to check...
