Does anyone know what the maximum nosewight is for my 2.9 12 valve Estate? (i.e. the max weight allowed on the towball.)?

Not really a problem but it would be useful to know for safety reasons and I can't find it in my handbook or the one on the site.

Normally 50-75kg is the norm for trailer noseweights on any car.
Most noseweight gauges measure from 0 to 80kgs but you don't need any special gauge really, just a piece of wood and some bathroom scales, as long as the scales don't exceed 80kgs you should be ok but noseweight can increase suddenly if you have insecure loads inside the caravan which roll forward and change the COG (centre of gravity). All carried items inside any caravan (or other trailer) must be securely stowed and the total weight of van and carried load must not exceed the MLW (maximum laden weight) for the trailer.

Towsafe provide some good advice.
