What are the advantages of using Iridium spark plugs over platinum plugs for this car is there any point?

I believe it's that Iridium plugs will last longer in service than Platinum ones. The platinum ones are bloody expensive , so I dread to think what the Iridium ones cost.

Or how about NGK twin electrode jobs? SAy it again, Each plug gets fired twice in a cycle therefore is getting worn down twice as fast! Using twin electrode plugs shares the load and reduces wear time. Work well in my 2.0L. eddie

i always used golden lodge for a high power use as there is no electrode bent around just 4 little legs at the sides and when you go to high revs the spark goes to the piston used to make 12 bhp extra on my jag and 15 in a lotus 2 litre engine just cant get them for the small sizes in new engines
