LPG problem on 2.0 Estate.

Anyone know anything about LPG because I know very little. Anyway I have a 2.0 with a Lovato system fitted.
Sometimes when you try to increase speed the car is flat & does not want to pull at all, as if it has no power. If you flick it onto petrol then it's fine so must be the gas system.  Any ideas?
Pressure low?, vaporizer?, where do I start?

check the basics first, coolant flow to the vapouriser, electrical connections on valves, lpg filter, is it closed loop, check lambda operation, air leaks ect.

the vaporiser should have a drain at the bottom of it to release all the filtered crud, every couple of yearse it needs to be drained. itherwise sounds like a weeeek mix. try the vap first then report back

Steve I checked the drain & a blob of like dirty grease came out. To early to say if it's had an affect yet.

Martin I can't see any bad connections & no air leaks.
LPG filter hmm where's that then?

you will / should have an electro valve fitted in the high pressure gas pipe just befor the vapouriser. its normal to get some 'dirty grease' from inside the vapouriser, its called heavey ends. have you had an exhaust emission test carried out. (4 gas preferably)
you still havent mentioned what type of system you have. (single point closed loop, multi point, sequential)

Sorry Martin it's a cheapy single point system made by Lovato & was fitted in 2000.
The valve your talking about is that the one that open's when the system is active. Traced a small gas leak back to that a few months ago. Checked again by the way & no leaks. Valve seems to work O.K as well.
Hmm LPG gas emissions is that expensive, any good if I test it with a STD emission tester?
