I have a 2.5td ultima estate only 1 owner from new. I just had the fuse box replaced at great expence by fords £300 in total. But i have a couple of other annoying probs that have been about for some time. 1. cruise control: wont switch on till the car has been running for 30mins or so. 2. Fan speed selector it is as though it has dead spots at certian speeds if i turn it up or down slightly it sometimes swithches off or just activates aircon or deactivates it if it's on. 3 a couple of dashboard lights have gone out and i cant see how to drop the dash facia to get to the little blighters to change them. if any of you geniuses can give me some advice as my ford dealer isnt having anymore of my hard earned cash

Here is the answer to #3, http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/fasciabulbs.htm Have you got a battery and both fuse box covers fitted ?, although Ford fitted the fuse box if the cover is on there is it on correctly ? .This will cause you all sorts of problems if not, as water will get in and cause lots of strange things to happen. Excuse this if it sounds strange as trying to think with a hangover is not the best thing to do,
