Electrical faults?

Hi all, first time I ve used this site have spent hours reading through the forums, swome excellant advice.
My problems started by trailer indicator bulb flashing intermittiently with no trailer, this lasted a couple of weeks but has now gone, but in its place I have the rear heated screen switch light flickering on and off,and the boot sensor says the boot is open all the time.
Also i think my rear suspension is too low, I have had this checked out local mechanic says shocks & springs ok and has passed mot since. Took car to fors who say suspect air compressor faulty but want to charge £700 to repair.
My real question is could all these faults be linked (fusebox may be)
Any views would be appreciated before I start stripping car down
