Hi everyone ,  Sorry to put 2 posts in quick succesion, only had our Scorp for 3 weeks you know how it is new toy etc , new faults etc.......,just by looking around it seems 30-40% of Scorpios have at least 1 cracked bumper ! Ours is no differant front and rear. How much should i expect to pay at breakers or are they repairable they look pretty curvey to fiberglass or fill , Thanks again guys ,   ...... and girls..Ian... Mine ended up in 3 pieces, snow, lorry in front, it was gonna get messy.

Anyway a mate of mine has a garage, he does insurance repairs all the time. He plastic welded mine and it looked as good as before.

It can be done but use a small bodyshop, the big ones normally just replace the panels, smaller places repair.

It was for me but as I mention my mate has a place. Thig I have found is Phil, my pal, can repair anything. Being a "Back Street garage" he has to be cheap, but still make a wage so money is made not buying parts.

Might be the places to look, off the beated track

ian...
try looking through the yellow pages (or similar),there are plenty of the "smart repairers" listed in them, they come to your house, and do the repairs there and then, look for people like "chips away" and "the plastic surgeon" and alike, also ask around for recommended repairers...
