2.5 TDI 1995 problems

Hi, I had the motor on idle, when the sound of the motor suddenly changed. When I put in a gear and tried to drive I noticed that there was blue smoke coming out the exhaustion pipe.
The motor shaked-like it was only running on three cylinders. When I finally came home and I looked at the motor the last of the
4 injectors was (seen from front) all splashed around with fuel.

I hope a cleaning of the inhjector (or a new) will solve my problem. How to unscrew the injector in question?

Thanks a lot, Snoopy.

Now. I have removed the cover, which hides all the streering of the rockers and push rods. What  I can see the 1. push rod of the last cylinder is not under the rocker head. (seen from front) It is loose. I can take it out easely.
The steel clamp/spring which holds the rocker in the center is missing, thats what caused the failure the rocker is about 1cm displaced.
Of course I will try to get this spring of Ford.
But how to get the push rod back where it belongs?
Thanks
Volker

put that cylinder at TDC and then depress the valve spring and replace the push rod.

Might need some help with another pair of hands
I know the push rods do some times come out in the TDi as they wear. There have been posts on here about it in the past

It must be possible to turn the engine over with  the starter motor If you remove theg;glow plugs  it will turn over very easily.

I know there are others on here who have a similar problem with the push rods.
I am sure that one of them will give you more advice.

In the engine assembly information it tells you how to refit the push rods!

Thanks to botht of .You Snoopy and Scorpioman.

I fixed the push rods under the rocker by demonting the last one
.Car has stopped running on only 3 cylinders/But I have to get this spring, which holds the rocker centred. (I wonder why this important item is missing.) Car runs as before incident. I did not touch the injectors.
Thanks again. Thanks to the site founders.
