air idle control valve

ok, after all my problems of the last week, i think i have found the problem, i need an idle air control valve.
i have a 2.3, so, will one off a 2.0 work? or is it different?
(there is one on ebay for a fiver at the moment)
so i just thought i would pick your brains?

i think the 2.0 is different in size and shape. 
not sure about the 24v.

looks the same as the one on my 2.3, i think i will take a chance on it anyway!
and yes, scorpioman, im very keen on a scan this weekend, if i buy this tomorrow, i dont think it will behere in time for me to fit it first tho
