was a member here a year ago when i got my scorpio, but have been havin such a good time drivin her that never really had time to come on here. (15,000 miles in a year and i do not work!!) she just passed her MOT which i was so pleased about but now a week later she has blown up dead ,gone, it happen as i was leavin the M25. over heated and i did not know as the needle did not move at all. I am gutted as i loved this car. did find a new engine for her yesterday but hubby says not worth the money so he is makin me get another car. (£500 for engine plus what ever to fit) not got the money to get another scorpio as havin an extishon done on house and all spare cash gone and going into that. so just gonna get some nutsty thing for now Anyone got any idea wot i should do with the love of my life (car not hubby) just scrap her, sell bits of her first or sell whole car as parts for some one. would rather some one that loves theses cars have her and put her to good use in one way or another. do not know if reg plate is unusal, ends in WMD. thanks for any advice given. tis a sad day.. Sue.....

Well I know what I would do in that case...... but if its £500 for the engine, and does it come with a warranty..... well that has to be VERY cheap car and you know most of its history. ONLY YOU can make the choice of what to do ....! Good luck. BTW is that a 2.0l 16v or a 2.3 16v.

| Get yourself a little job to pay for the engine and don't listen to the husband?
