Long running problem on my 98 2.3 ultima .Climate seems to work for a short time i.e heats up then cools. You may think this is norm, but it just pumps out cool air, even in winter and set at a fairly high heat.Put to hi and there is plenty of heat.I have done reset on many occasions ,but no difference. No error codes show. Note that if you increase temp setting from say 22 to 28 it will blow hot air for a short while then cool air for eternity thereafter. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated. Barry

Could be an air-lock in the cooling system somewhere OR.... It could even be something as simple as the coolant level getting a bit low. Mine does this when it drops a bit. Might be worth checking that first.

Could be something as simple as a faulty sensor in the car.... there are several but others will know more, of that I am quite sure.

Try reading through this to locate the sensors.http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/aircon.htm.I'm sure Snoopy knew that it was a test to see if anyone else was paying attention!!!. HTH

I have looked at this, but if it was a faulty sensor then surely it would show up on CC reset as a fault code?
