Seem to be getting a slight whiff of petrol through the dash vents and whilst driving with the window a little open!Because of this,it's obviously not coming from the back end of the car.Just wondered if anyone knows of a common cause of leaks or seapage under the bonnet?(save me searching the whole fuel system) It really is a slight smell, but it's been happening a while now and it's getting irritating!!! Any pointers? dart

Not come across this one myself but its worth checking all the petrol pipes with the engine running as its only then that they are under pressure. could be a return pipe. Strange no one else has not had this problem looks like you are the first.!

I had a similar problem along with running rough, turned out to be the pressure regulator packing up and the bottom rubber pipe on the egr being off. That was on the old 2.0, dunno if that helps. Egr was about £35 and the pressure reg was a bit more. is itnot showing anyhing up on the egr, its just thats how I fund my problem. HTH
