air con gon nuts

Driving in to work this morning, fairly warm day,so i turned air con off and opened window...sat in traffic ror a bit. Then, hello I thought the vents are blowing warm air! But its turned off!
bleeding funny I thought. I tried turning it on & off but it still wanted to blow warm and possibly moist air.
Got to work and turned engine off and wondered how to set the re-con  Can any one tell me how to do this trick. Thanks in advance. Ferret

I did the readjustment as per instructions and got the 50 on LH display then the 00 came up as per and all now seems to be tickerteboo and re-set.
