Urgent help required. Cossie no start

Help!! Car wouldn't start so called RAC. Mechancic checked all electrics this is what he said.
1. There is a feed to the MAF
2. 12 volt feed to injectors and ignition coil
3. All fuses and relays seem ok, all dry.
4. PATS recognises the 1 key I have so not an apparent immobiliser fault.
5. Engine turns over, battery ok
6. No switching at injectors or coil-no spark

He thinks it is the crank sensor which has failed but he couldn't get access to it to check - says need car on ramp- and that need someone with OBD to check if there is any voltage from crank sensor when turning over the engine.

Only offer of a scan I got last week ( before this problem when car was starting ok) was from Bob in Wallasey but as I can't start the car I can't get to him.

Is there anyone locally to me in Prestwich, Morth Manchester who would be willing to assist or can anyone recommend a Scorpio specialist who is reliable but not mad expensine in my area.

Anyone with a similar experience and cost to repair?

Many thanks.

Geoff.
I there anyone

Ehanks for that advice, I'll check when it stops raining although the RAC man did take out 7.5 fuses this am and they seemed ok.

Thanks for that Scorpio_man.  I tried it and hey presto worked 1st time and now also works when in P too. Smiley

Lets see what happens tomorrow. Seems you know more than the RAC.

What a great site this, glad I found you guys.

Thanks again.

Geoff.

p.s. I'd still like to get the car OBD'd if there is someone close by.

That's 3 threads that I have read where the problem has been solved by people on the site and where the original mechanic had no idea - you gotta love it Smiley

Anyway, for all that have been helped please remember to support the site in whatever way you can.
