I have started on my 24v project Smiley
I have an engine rattle and want to eliminate the cats as a possible cause.
Is there a procedure I need to follow? or anything I should or shouldnt do before I start?
(I know the one about not warming them up by running the engine first Wink)

My Scorp Collection so far Smiley

From under the car you should be able to hear if cats are rattling especilay if the engine is gently revved.
I replaced both cats on my scorpio and the only problem was a difficult nut to get at drivers side rear manifold ....use 3/4 drive universal  joint  , extension and six sided socket...helps to not round heads off.
Best to soak nuts and studs. with wd40 the night before but mine all came loose without any problems.  Cats slid off pipes ok ...don't use any paste before cats.
Good luck
