While installing the engine today my brother in law found a silver plastic part near the headlight which we have been unable to identify. Could someone help us determine whether this is a required Scorpio part or just a alien wigget that has found itself in the engine bay? If someone could also explain how we insert pictures of such items into our postings that would be great too

To put pictures in a post yopu need to host the picture on a web page or site first and please no bigger than 640x480 there are llots of sites than do it for you here are a couple. http://groups.msn.com/TheFordScorpio1995 Theres the http://www.anyboard.net/autos/cars/scorpio/index.html Photo bucket also host pictures for free or even your own Web space which most ISP 's provide with your account. then when you have put you picture on the web you link to it using the insert picture button on the message board which is the fourth one along one the second row ...

could it have something to do with the headlamp washers, or if it was in the left hand side, passenger headlamp i would be looking at the AC system, with the white plastic parts on it I would guess water/Ac not fuel. The AC dryer and regulator are located on the passenger side headlamp, under the black plastic shiels. i would also guess snoopy is scanning the catalogues now as we speak.

This is an..... Yes... Its an UWO....!!! Unidentified Wierd Object... Hehe... Sorry, but i cant say ive ever seen something like this in a car... Pic number 2 shows a black rubber sealing... (remember im from norway, (bad eng.)) So it cant be an rotating/mecanical part... The metallic part is CLEAN in the "slices"... so it may have been part of somethin bigger... My first hounest thought was a part for an wachingmachine... So i guess its alien... But i may be wrong ofcource... anyone whome have spent days in the scorps engineroom.? say something..!!

If it was something off your car, i would imagine it would have either a Ford logo stamped into it or a part number embosed into it. Doesn't appear to have them, so i would put it in file 13......... the bin!
