I have a 1995 Ultima 12valve and the memory function for the seats has stopped working. I can alter the seating electrically but when I press the long bar and then posn 1 say, I get no beep. Similarly if I amu suing the seats om posn 1 and my wife gets in she has to manually operate the buttons to change the seating arrangement and then I can not alter it back to my position with memory button 1. The remote function does however work so that if I use the car after my wife then using my remote to open the door causes the seating to go to poition 1. Any one any ideas what could be wrong.

Hi Joss Its probably just a poor electrical connection at the switch. Take out the switch and give it a short spray with a switch cleaner to improve the electrical conductivity of the switch to wiring plug connection. Regards KL
