Autobox slipping

Having a problem with my automatic gearbox on my 1996 2.0lt scorpio, as you are driving along when it should change gear it just revs if you take your foot off the acelerator sharply then back on it changes gear have changed oil and filter still the same any ideasHuh

have you cleaned the MAF?

then check the wiring looms.
