hey everyone i have recently moved to the south of Spain..and low and behond one of my wheel bearing has give up the ghost. i have visited the local Ford dealership and they tell me the the hub on my 97 Scorpio Ultima 2.3 16v should be 5stud...although it is fitted with 4 stud!!! can anyone tell me if any of the other models of Scorpio/Granada/Mondeo or Sierra will fit as it looks like i may have to visit a few scrap yards just to get her back on the road... many thanks

| Nonsense! They're all 4-stud. The Granadas that went before the Scorpio were 5-stud, but not 'ours'. Were they looking at the right lists for the parts?

It was only us in good old blighty that had the Granada after 1986 when the "new" hatchback model came out. The rest of Europe called it a Scorpio.Fords thought we were too set in our ways and didn't want to get rid of the Granada name then. Confusing or what. They must have picked the wrong year Scorpio when looking up your parts. Go see them again. As Paul B says all ours are 4 stud. When I get to work tomorrow I will post some finis codes for you just in case you need them to help the dealer out.

Diddie Finis for hub is 6156880 and is definitley 4 stud despite all the pictures I can find on E-cat and here at http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/images/rearbrakediag.gif It also fits Sierras with rear discs and Escort Cossie so you've got a few vehicles to choose from if you're going second hand.
