Hiya Guys, Ive just got my 2.0 ultima back on the road after somebody crashing into me a few months a go, i had 2 new doors fitted, back and front on the near side and it looks like its old self but i have a problem with the electric windows. When i press down they go up and when i press up they go down, this only happens on the 2 doors fitted but does also work the same way when i use the switches on the drivers door for them windows, this is quite annoying because when i have my window open and get out the car and try to use the globel closing my window goes up but the passenger windows go down. The mechanic used the same loom from my old door for the front passengers door but used the loom in the new door for the back, any suggestions ? Thanks Alan

Hi Alan, sounds like the polarity on the window motors have been reversed then, not sure how they would do that as i'm pretty sure you can't put multiplugs on switches the wrong way round. Whip the door panel off and have a quick shufty regards Paul

| Thanks for the reply paul My mechanic said you can only put them on one way so is bemused by the whole thing, hes got it overnight so lets see what he comes up with. If anybody else knows of anything to try then please let me know, Thanks, Alan
