24 valve will not start

Hello everyone, I drove the scorp wednesday evening everything o.k,when i came to start it thursday morning it turned over as usual but would not fire. pulled a plug out spun it over no sign of spark,checked fuses all ok.bought a crank sensor tried that still the same.tried the relay r19 still no joy not sure whats next . any suggestions guys. hi ,i would check the engine wiring loom as my 12v had the same problem it breaks down where it goes from the multiplug by the exhaust up and round inbetween the heads hth

Hi The first thing to look for is battery efficiency,as this is a classic symptom of battery that is on the way out, these scorpios demand high efficieny, even though the engine turns over, good luck and keep us posted Kenboy

Check the wiring between the Crankshaft Position Center and the main loom - it comes up the front of the engine past the coil pack and is prone to major deterioration - it's sleeved and you will need to pull back some of the sleeving to see the problem.

Thanks for your suggestions guys will be checking wiring tomorrow morning will let you know what i find if anything i,ve got a mobile auto electrician coming in the afternoon he,s gonna plug it in to see if anything shows

hi all just to let you know it,s now fixed.thanks to this site. Pulled out fuse box battery side it had got some water in it, went round to my neighbours and used his airline to blow out any water drops in it then lathered it in wd 40 blew the excess off and also cleaned the plug terminals reconnected everything and she started first time GREAT SITE
