We have been rebuilding a Cosworth over the last couple of months and putting right alot of previous errors (those that are aware of this car know who wrecked it before!). While putting the car back together we realised that the fuel pipes in the engine bay have been chopped and what appears to be a custom repair job done. I got a new set of fuel rails with pipes attached and the ends of the long rubber fuel pipes have plastic connectors terminated on the ends. What I am trying to locate is either a link to the relevant page in the workshop manual or photo's of what the connections in the engine bay look like that these pipes attach to? Second thing is how exactly does the fan shroud fit to the radiator? I read in the 'Scorpio How To' pages that it is fixed with 10mm bolts, but that's pretty non-descript. So I am lloking for a more detailed explanation of how it attaches.

On the side of the rad there should be some captive bolts as can be seen in this picture http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/images/radchange05.jpg the 10mm nuts just screw onto those to hold the fan shroud in place

We have a brand new rad still sealed in the box so once we take it out will check for these 'captive' bolts. What about the fuel pipes connections?

Still hard at work then As snoopy said but here is a better pic. X marks the spot. http://i20.photobucket.com/albums/b228/DavidHoward/Scorpio/24VRadBolts.j pg Fuel pipes should be by the left hand engine mount, the plastic clips just push on. I can get you a pic if needed but only of the pipe ends. If damaged you will have to figure out another way to connect them.

Hi Dave, Thanks for the link, gives me an idea of where to tell my brother-in-law to look for the fixings. Ideally, a picture would be great of how the fuel piepes attach (push-fit?), inside the engine bay. Regards, Craig
