I had a Mazda Xedos which were renowned for getting noisy tappets as the miles racked up, the oilways are only very small so over time they gradually get even smaller due to tiny deposits, Magnatec was always a Big No No as it actually leaves a thin coating on these parts effectively reducing the oilways even more, these oils also have a relatively high ash content which again is not desirable. I switched to Mobil 1 following advice from several mechanics and fellow Xedos owners and fingers crossed have not had the problem since with my next Xedos or my Scorps.
