Rims for Scorpio

Hi, Trying to find 15" rims for my Scorpio and it seems to be surprisingly difficult to find used ones. Not alloys, just traditional metal ones for winter tyres. Well... the center hole is the same for Focus, Mondeo (->01) and Scorpio. And further on bolts will fit, 4 * 108mm. Then comes the but - is the ET (offset) value the same? Old rims have die cut number 46 and I suppose that it is the ET value. One set of Focus' rims would be available, but it seems that the ET is 52,5. Sounds like too much. Haven't been able to locate the values from the net. Does anyone know? Thanks! Otto

the offset value (ET No) is prety dependant on the J value (rim width) ie, 7 1/2j x ET30 is the same as 7j x ET25, though a 7j ET38 will still fit the scorp (more in set), try some ot the wheel/tyre sites it will give you a better idea.

Hi, Thanks for your response. I do not know the width of the rims, but read from somewhere that for standard 15" (Focus) rims it should be 7. BTW, just found this: http://premium.uploadit.org/peterdee/wheelfit.jpg Useful at least for me My conclusion is that Focus' rims (ET 52,5) won't fit. Searching will continue... Otto

Hi Otto, Do you want a set of standard 15" alloys (with tyres) to use as winter runabouts? I have a set which I would let go cheaply. John
