12v feed/pickup in boot?

Hi, Can anyone tell me if there is an easy to access "always on" 12v feed in the area of the rear parcel shelf or the boot of my late 94 scorpio (frog headlights design) saloon. Reason I ask is I want to hookup my gps receiver and leave it permanently on, placed on the rear parcel shelf. Thanks.

Nice idea and I'll keep it in mind. However, the gps receiver uses a cigarette lighter style plug which has circuitry to reduce the supply voltage to circa 5v, so i need to incorporate that somewhere. I'll see what other suggestions come up. Failing none I could always trace the cable for the interior lights and connect in closer to the shelf itself (or underneath). Thanks for your input!

I ran a wire from the rear cigarette lighter under the carpet underneath the back seat into the boot
