Hi guys, can anyone advise me on where i can get a new wiring harness for a cossie 24v.( original problem flashing O/D light). Ford say there is none in this country, & not available any more. Garage as rewired manually from all socket conections, & now won`t start. 3 auto electritions can`t find why. So a complete new harness would be helpful to rule out wiring. Things are desperate now, this car could end up in the breakers yard . Could anybody recommend a good autoelectrition in the North East (Newcastle-upon- Tyne). Desperate++++.

Hi Dave, as near as i can tell my man says there is a signal ,(ECU etc.) before starting & for first fire then it`s gone, but as soon as you stop turning the signal is back again ready for the same thing to happen.

John try here http://www.fordpartsuk.com/index.html Ford have been dumping all there Scorpio stock on to them. I know someone who got one last month. Probably checked but the battery voltage isn't dropping a bit low is it when you crank the engine as that can cause what you have said?

Contact STN (Save The Night0 on this forum, he can provide a re-wire of any existing harness. I have two-thirds of a harness, got it from a breakers yard, looks in great condition but the idiots at the yard cut the last few inches off at the gearbox end I got it free so I will most likely donate it to STN for his re-wire service.
