FULL BEAM PPROBS

Hi have just bought a 2.0 16v ultima have a problem with full beam, relay is switchin fuses and bulbs ok no full beam, dash light is lighting up any ideas what to do now

Have you changed the fuses?
Sometimes a film builds up on the contacts & stops the current flow. Is the fuse box dry?

Has it been off?
 
The locating pins have to be inserted under the holders at the end farthest from the cable before the plug is pushed in, it can look as if its ok but not be seated correctly,  
headlights are one of the things that dont work if its not on properly.
