I'm in the middle of bringing my deceased 'project' td scorpio back to life in the form of a new engine. The car is a 1995 model and the engine is from 1997 car. the only difference is that the new engine has an extra wiring loom connector. The two connectors on the old engine are here: http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/tdi-0996.htm but the new engine has an extra connector with black wires from the engine going to it here: http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/tdi0996.htm would it be possible just to unconnect all the connectors on the old engine and re-connect them on the new engine and use the old wiring loom in place of the newer one? Thanks, Matt
