can anyone help, my 96 scorpio ultima has just shredded the alt belt i have a rough diagram of how it runs but can you tell me if i need to loosen anything else apart fom the tensioner

thanks for the quick response, the job is all sorted now, i think the major problem was bl@@dy HALFORDS supplying the wrong belt to start with, but hey whats three inch shorter between friends, thanks again
