Unknown/unidentified Connector Block

Hi Guys, We've noticed that when we open the bonnet of our car there is a wiring loom that runs across the front of the car (in front of rad). Exiting from the loom is an electrical connector block (female) with nothing attached. Anyone know what this is for?

No but we all have them, think its for some optional extra maybe? lights? Mines has a red plug in it
