Does anyone know what could be causing my 1995 Scorpio Estate 2.5TD to give eratic power during light throttle settings?? It tends to surge and cause the car to shake, rather like the "Kangaroo Effect" that learner drivers achieve with petrol engines. The car pulls smoothly at anything other than light throttle and the Turbo kicks in normally. The problem can often be felt when easing off the throttle. As it's a 1995 vintage, there is no MAF Sensor. Any help would be appreciated.
