Hello I have 1998 2.3 Ultima (Auto). The fan comes on as soon as the car is started or shortly after. The temp doesn't go above the blue bit. Thermostat? Any advise would be appreciated. thanks in advance.

Check for corrosion on the pins on the fan switch (also the temp sender on the 2.3 I think). This can cause constant/odd running of the fans. Bear in mind if the a/c is on both fans will run on low speed. The gauge not getting out of the blue would suggest a stuck open thermostat. HTH
