Help please.

Sunroof has stopped working !
Fuse is o.k. and other items fed via same circuit are working .
I need to remove the switch / interior light panel , to check out the power supply and wiring to the sunroof motor etc. , but can't see how it releases.
Up until this the sunroof appeared to working fine, no judder or sluggishness. Closed perfectly yesterday but nothing working today.

Chris.

Chris... it may just be a bit stuck. I doubt its had much use over the winter months   Undecided

Have you tried giving it a helping hand (at the same time as operating the switch)?

Hiya.

How are you both ? Cass sends her best wishes too.

Thanks for the reply. Use the roof quite often. It opened closed perfectly yesterday. I'ved tried to assist it as you suggested but it appears to be electricaly dead hence the need to test power supplies to the drive motor etc.

Thanks again , Chris.

p.s. hope to get to next meet .

Is it lack of use  that seems   to   cause  sunroof   probs ?  Undecided

Does anyone with  Air Con   use  it  at   all ?   Huh

Seems  a    pointless  piece of kit  really,   sorry,  I'm  feeling  rather  existential  to-night ,   I should stop listening to   those  Lenny Cohen albums    Sad

Mine is always on. I use it to keep the car defrosted and keep the windows clear even with the heater cranked right up. Use it in the summer to keep cool too.....marvellous bit of kit!

got to agree with you Mr F
that's why I avoided air con / climate control & got a ghia.
more bother than it's worth judging by posts.
still got sunroof though & it's rusted on glass frame!!

Paul and others thanks for the replies.

The link to sunroof is the one I needed. If it stays fine today I'll give it a look and let you know how I get on.

Thanks , Chris
