My Scorpio is a 2Ltr estate.1996 16V. I believe that there are two versions of radiator for this car. Does anybody know if they interchangable.

I personally do not know of more than 1 sort of radiator for each car - unless you are thinking of the air-con radiator? The water and a/c radiators are not interchangable. There is also possibly (on some cars) an autobox cooler which I think can look like a small radiator....

The autobox ATF cooler is separate from the main radiators and is situated below the front crossmember ( next to the PAS U-Bend Cooler ). Some larger engined Scorps have a Combined water/Engine Oil Radiator. Confused?

Many thanks for the help.I take it that the two extra connections are for the auto oil cooler so it should be OK to use it on a manual car.

| Saw a rad on ebay recently and it said "THIS MODEL IS ACTUALLY FOR THE AUTO MODEL BECAUSE IT HAS THE OIL COOLER PIPE FITTINGS BUT IF FITTING TO A MANUAL THEY ARE NOT USED SO IF ITS FOR A GRANDA OR A SCORPIO AS LONG AS YOUR CAR IS A 2.0 LTR FORM 1990-1998 THIS IS THE UNIT YOU REQUIRE". The item number was 4604577015 Hope this helps. btw, the rad has now been sold...

| One pipe from the autobox oil cooler/radiator connects to the main (water cooling) radiator andpasses the oil through it before returning to the autobox
