help a sh sh sh sound

help i getting a sh sh sh sound coming from o/s rear wheel i have put new disks/pads on the sound went for 1 day but is back on the old disk on the rusty outer edge have been rubbing the rust off any help it's doing my head it sh sh sh it sounds like you have somthing stuck on the tyre

Have a check of the wheel bearing , jack it up, and test for any movement, top and bottom of the wheel, if it ain't rock solid then at least you've identified a disintigrating bearing before it does real damage.

hi i had the same sound on my estate , sounded like the tyre was rubbing on something, checked bearings, pads, calliper, ect no good, found that if i took wheel off put some copperslip greese on the wheel studs put wheel back and hey presto ,noise gone, must have been very slight movement of hub on drive shaft hth rick

all sorted it was bearing just started to break up on outside bearing replaced it cost £30 pain to get off
