Not really a problem this one but just wondering if anyone knows how to remove the Auto gearstick surround + gear indicator.  You know, - the panel that has the mode switches.

need removal to change green illumination to Blue LED's.

This will then complete my blue dash LED mod.

so how does one remove the handle, release button and Overdrive Button to unscrew the gear stick?

Presume this is neccessary to remove the mode switch panel?

4 bolts hold the whole gearstick assembly in place, you'll see it when the covers are off, you can get to it but if you're soldering etc i think it might be better out altogether

And to remove the whole thing?  Undo 4 bolts right??

And whats its relationship with the linkage under the car?  must be more linkages/pivots etc to remove no?
