Dim-Dip Relay Question

Firstly thanks to everyone who gave me helpful advice last weekend regarding my electrical problem - solved it with replacing all the fuses & the bonnet alarm. That was the 1st time I'd used such a site as this and I wanted to say how impressed I was with how helpful and quick everyone was. Perhaps you could help me out with another question?
Can anyone tell me if a 97 Ultima should have a dim-dip relay please?
I recently replaced all the fuses and checked all the relay contacts, but noticed the only relay missing for the car was the dim-dip relay.
Does anyone know if it should be there and it's a case of just getting a replacement, or there more to it (as is usually the case

There was a post recently saying that the later models did not have the dim-dip facility.
