Hello gents, my tailgate has never been operable with the ignition key....only with the remote keyfob, since i've had the car, Oct 02. I assume that it should be the same lock?....so are there any common problems/cures? THANKS

I had a smilar problem with my saloon when bought. In the end I replaced all the locks because they were all worn. However, I did get the boot lock working by taking off the boot panel behind the lock and moving the mechanism by hand. This seemed to free it off and it worked fine until replaced!
