Having checked fuses (intact) and all wiring etc, i still cannot get the drivers side Heated Screen working. Any ideas?

Maybe the element itself is broken? Probably a stone chip or similar? Should be possible to measure the resistance through the element with a multimeter. If it lets current pass through, the element should be alright.

hi leftocentre-when my screen packed up traced fault back to engine run fuse! in the aux fuse box fuse 34 ..15amp.i know its just one side on yours ,but might be worth a check.stan

Most probably the element,seem a common problem on these and they are advancing in years,maybe a stonechip has broken the element some place? Need a multimeter to check the resistance througth the heating element to prove it.
